Formed in 2018, the group is made up of indigenous women from 13 ethnic groups in the Lower Tapajós. They use carimbó as a tool to make the indigenous female voice echo beyond their territories. They have performed at festivals such as Virada Cultural SP and Virada Cultural Amazônia de Pé, Se Rasgum, Rec-Beat, Psica, TUM Festival, Encontro de Culturas da Chapada dos Veadeiros, Rockin Rio edition 2024, and have shared the stage with Dona Onete, Gaby Amarantos, Lucas Estrela, Silvan Galvão, Gang do Eletro and others. They are part of the Suraras do Tapajós Indigenous Women’s Association, which fights to defend women’s rights.
