After 13 years, we’re back on the banks of the Rio Negro, connecting voices that live in and defend the Amazon.
The event was part of TED Countdown, mobilizing ideas for a sustainable future.

We continue to expand our impact, bringing together innovators, scientists, artists and communities to discuss the future of the Amazon.

TEDCountdown
TEDCountdown is a global initiative launched by the TED organization to address and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis.
The aim is to mobilize a massive movement of citizens, leaders and organizations committed to halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, towards a zero-emissions world by 2050. Given the acceleration of climate change and the threats to the Amazon biome, it is urgent to reopen the dialog and focus on this discussion.
That’s why TEDxAmazonia 2025 is part of TED’s global climate change initiative.
