An activist, artist and artisan, Hannah lives on the Amapá-Pará river bridge. Executive director of the Mapinguari Institute, she is a trained biologist and builds climate connections from the local to the global, between popular education in Amazonian territories and political advocacy at UN events. The focus of her work is to reveal the vulnerabilities of indigenous and quilombola areas, which protect the world from climate change but suffer the most from it.
